- The screen will turn black and the gadget will reboot to recovery mode after few seconds. You will either see a spinning cogwheel or wheel according to the device you are using. Switch the device off and again start from step ‘e’.
- Connect USB cable with GPS tool. You need to connect when spinning cogwheel or wheel appears on the screen.
- My Drive Connect will automatically begin restoring the TomTom software on the gadget once the GPS is connected to the computer system. Leave the device as the recovery process will take around 5 to 30 minutes, depending upon the internet connection.
- Wait for the GPS gadget to restart.
- You can disconnect the tool from the computer once the tool restarts. The device will display a red cross if the software is restored successfully.
